A composition is a framing: a name, an aspect ratio, a fit (contain or cover) and a minimum source size. A rendition is an encoding of a composition: format, width and quality.
Each composition gets its own URL path segment (main, card). Each rendition gets a filename (large.webp, small.jpeg). Adding a rendition adds a URL; removing one makes that URL answer 404, so the app warns before you save.
